Description

Make the most of your Costa del Sol vacation with a day trip to one of Andalusia's most emblematic cities, Granada. Get picked up from one of the convenient meeting points and dropped off in the city center to explore at your own pace. After getting picked up from your chosen meeting point in Malaga, Torremolinos, Benalmadena, or Fuengirola, begin the journey to Granada. Take in views of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and stop for breakfast along the way (not included in tour price). Upon arrival in Granada, enjoy up to five hours of free time to explore the city at your own pace. You could admire the Renaissance architecture of the Cathedral of Granada or visit the Moroccan tea shops on Calle Elvira for a mint tea or lemonade. Alternatively, spend the day exploring Granada's renowned tapas bars. The streets surrounding Plaza Nueva and Calle Elvira are buzzing with traditional bars where a free tapa is served with every drink. If the Alhambra is on your bucket list, you could use your free time to visit the Nasrid Palaces and Generalife. You could also wander through the streets of the Albaicin and take in panoramic views from Mirador San Nicolas or get lost in the streets of Sacromonte, the cradle of gypsy culture, and listen to the sound of flamenco music floating down the hills. At the end of the day, meet your guide back at the meeting point and hop back on the bus for the journey back to your pickup point.
